While studying Physical Therapy at the National Sports Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria, Kalin interned at various hospital departments, including Orthopedics, Neurology, Internal Medicine and Trauma Unit. After completing his university education, he continued to develop his skills and knowledge in the field of SPA therapy, while exploring the therapeutic potential of various Eastern massage styles and techniques.
Between 2005 and 2011, Kalin worked as a physical and massage therapist in the prestigious Maleevi Tennis Club in Sofia.
In 2006, Kalin graduated from the Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai – an institution fully accredited by the Thai government and recognized by Thailand’s Royal Family, which provides professional and teacher training in the practice and theory of Thai massage. There, Kalin completed the Government Certified Thai Massage Professional and Teacher Training program and He is licensed to teach the school’s complete curriculum of courses, which has been approved by Thailand’s Ministry of Education. These include: Foundations of Thai Massage (level 1), Thai Massage Enhancement (level 2), Therapeutic Thai Massage (level 3), Intensive professional Thai Massage (level 4-5), Thai Foot Reflexology, Thai Table Massage, and Thai Chair Massage.
Over the past 17 years, inspired by the experience he acquired in Thailand, Kalin has dedicated all of his energy and efforts to the practice and teaching of Thai massage. He has organized and taught a number of courses in many cities around Bulgaria, Cyprus, Malta, Portugal and Croatia.
In addition to individuals, Kalin has also trained entire teams of professionals. He trained the employees of a number of high-end hotels and SPA centers around Bulgaria, including the Sense Hotel Sofia, the Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena in Bansko, the Grand Hotel Pomorie, the Interhotel Bulgaria in Burgas, the Sana SPA Hotel in Hissar, the UPI Beauty and Spa Center in Sofia, the Long Beach Spa Resort i Shkorpilovtsi.
Kalin also teaches courses for students ат the College of Medicine in Sofia including visually impaired students.
